I Love My Purls

We have been busy getting ready for Amy, Paul and the kids.  Dave bought these for the twins when he went grocery shopping.

I made Paula Dean's Baked Spaghetti - a favorite of all of us.

Picked some yummy plums.

We are getting zuchinnis from these gorgeous plants.

...and lots of blackberries!

I am a little concerned about my pumpkin plants...not looking so good all of a sudden.

..and we have nickel size watermelons.

They are here at last!!! In their new KIA.

Alex looks so sophisticated and handsome in his glasses.  Daddy says he is very responsible and takes good care of his glasses.

So excited to be here and we couldn't be happier.

Meighan showed me her new "Sticker Toothbrush".

So glad Sami was able to come..she showed us new polishes to paint our nails...

This is crackle, paint your nails any color and put the black polish on and this is what you get.

We bought lots of different colors.

So sweet.

I made a blackberry pie.

It was pretty yummy.

Amy had some friends over for a cookout.  The kids had fun in the pool.

Alex brought some of his costumes.

He said little Henry was his sidekick.

I love all of Amy's friends, they are a great bunch!

There was lots of good food - Amy and Paul took care of everything.

Had to buy Meg some new garden boots.  She loves to help me in the garden.

We went to a favorite local restaurant - Geno's.

Bought this cute bikini for Meg.

Amy, Paul and Sami headed home Thursday morning. We miss them already. The kids will be here with us for a couple of weeks.  We had a great day, stayed very busy.   Picked some fresh veggies and flowers and headed to deliver them and visit with Aunt Jeannette.

We went to Trader Joes and then to Short Pump Mall.  The kids enjoyed a ride on the train.

We ate dinner outside while enjoying music from a concert that was an unexpected treat.  Meg and I had chinese and Dave and Alex had Chic Filet.

After eating we took Jeannette home and headed back to Chester - Dave and Meg went to the pool, Alex and I did our thing on the computer and we all went to bed - a busy day and we were all tired.
