Last Week With Alex

We have had so much fun with Alex.  Dave has taken him twice to the "PlayGround" - Alex loves it.  I was off on Wednesday so we spent about 4 hours here.  He was the only kid there for the majority of the time.  But, he didn't care, he never stopped.Of course we had to have a snack. He a drew picture of me and Grandpa; that's Bandit on the right. Our little artist.Back home by the pond.  He is eating popcorn.Dave found this sandel of Meg's when raking today.  Dave is still trapping squirrels, #60.We dropped the squirrel off at Pocohontas Park on Friday, heading out of town to meet Amy.I got some crocheting done on a baby blanket for our nephew and his wife.  Their baby girl is due in May.Plus, I am learning all about my Kindle Dave gave me with some of his winnings from Las Vegas. In the hotel. We met Amy at Morehead, Kentucky.  We arrived a little early so we found this antique shop and went in to kill some time.  I kept in touch with Amy via cell.I heard Amy's foot steps heading towards us - Alex saw her and took off to his Mommy.  He was so glad to see her. After checking in our hotel we went to this flea market.  We spotted this cute puppy; he wasn't for sell.  I want one, I miss Cooper.  This had to come home with me.After a great steak dinner we headed back to the hotel.  We will miss Alex so much.  Can't wait to get him and Meighan in July!!!!

Alex helped me make cookies for my co-workers today.. it is Shamrock Cookies in honor of St. Patrick's Day next week.  Alex wanted to make a few for Meighan.A bunny and a mouse for Meg.Alex helping me clean up.

We went to see Avatar today.  I really enjoyed it.  It was a long movie and Alex got a little antsy several times, but overall he seemed to enjoy it.  I read on one of the reviews that stated "the visuals are stunning" and I have to agree.  It was a love story, a war story - many stories in one.  It was not in 3 D as we expected - they stopped showing it in 3 D several weeks ago??? We were not aware of this.

Hope everyone has a great St. Patrick's Day week.
