Chester Festival

Meg and Alex spent the night on Friday. They both wanted some lap time with Papa.

They both want the same toy at the same time and sometimes it works.

Meg spotted her bikini when we were looking for her pajamas and had to put it on. At least she was agreeable to put it over her pj's.

Alex on his twist and spin.

Bandit really loves Alex.

On Saturday we headed to the Chester Festival.
Meighan wanted a tatoo.

It was hard to make a decision - too many tatoo's to choose.

Decision made.

Alex looks on, but has definitely decided he does not want one.

She chose Cinderella, cute!

It was a very hot day - they are sharing their water.

They loved the animals.

Especially Alex.

This slide was Meg's favorite, she has no fear - a real dare devil. This young girl took her to the top several times.

There they go!

See her at the top? Ready to go!

At first she would flip and flop all over as she came to the bottom, but with practice she got it down pat.

This time she made it down without flipping all over. That is her new friend and helper right behind her.

It didn't take long for her to climb those wobbly steps by herself. We had a really fun time.

Labor Day 2007

After Dave and I had so much fun when we took Ian and Emmy to the pools at Pocohantus Park we decided to go on Labor Day and ask the kids to come. Everyone came except for Paul. We had a great time and the kids loved it.

Meighan relaxing for a while.

Alex wasn't sure at first.....

Still thinking about it.

Almost there.

Yeah! He did it and love it.

Food, Garden, and a few other things

This is a morning glory plant that has taken over and has climbed up the house, completely covering my star above the Fresh Herbs sign. Very large plant, very few blooms???

Bandit is as cute and sweet as ever, but not so much when we leave him - he wasn't a very good doggy when Kari and Lance kept the dogs when we went out of town for the Tech game. He just freaks with any change in his regular schedule.

He is very playful.

Dave has been putting down new mulch. What a difference it makes.

These Cleome are doing great.

Our garden has about had it.

The new pond is doing great.

These are probably our last veggies.

I like making hamburger rolls, they are so much better than the store bought ones and easy to make. You just put every thing in the bread machine, select the dough cycle, then remove and shape into desired size, let rise, bake and you have these:

Delish and easy!

This turned out really good - asian chicken in peanut sauce (I left out the peanuts).
