Dave's trip

Dave and Kari left in the wee hours Saturday morning for Glen Beck's "Restoring Honor Rally" in Washington, D.
C.It was a 2 mile walk from the bus to the Lincoln Memorial.

Kari

500,000 or more people attended.

The event ended at 2 pm and their bus headed back at 4 pm.  It was a long day for them but they enjoyed it.  I am glad Kari went with her Dad.  I am not much into political events - I am who I am and I feel very personal and private about my views.  To each their own.  God Bless America.

Annabelle

Annabelle went to the vet last Monday and she has gained 1 pound, weighing in at 3.5 pounds.  Her middle really looks chubby to us, but the vet says she is fine.  I found this cute, girly pillow for her --She gets in it occasionally...Most of the time she attacks it.She is a fiesty little girl.  So cute but naughty at the same time.  She is relentless with Bandit, bites Bandit's ears, legs, whatever.  When Bandit gets tired he just goes to his kennel - what a dog!We love them.

First Day of School for Our Twins

School started on August 17 in St. Louis.  The kids go to kindergarten in the afternoon.  Their class has 10 girls and 4 boys.  They were so excited to ride the bus.  Aren't they cute?

I found these cute cookies while checking out at TJ Max, so - they are on their way in a goody package for Meighan and Alex.

We went to Kari's last week for a going away party for Matlin returning to college.  We met the newest member of their family - cute little bunny - Oreo is her name.Annabelle checking out Oreo.Kari brought gifts back for us for keeping Max while they were in Myrtle Beach.  Dave got a T-Shirt - he loves it and I got this cute sign - thanks guys!I roasted squash and zucchini - yummy to me, Dave hates any kind of squash. I went through a spell that I just wasn't up to cooking, too Hot!!  But last week I got the bug back.  Our favorite - steak and mushrooms.Parmesan Chicken - Tyler's recipe - sooo good.  I made spareribs last night - one of my favorites, Dave doesn't like ribs so I made him Salisbury Steak.

Annabelle

Annabelle has brought a lot of fun and joy to our family.  She is very sweet and has developed such a cute personality.Her first bath.Very active and she loves to play with
Bandit and gets puckered out easily.We just love her.Bandit loves her too, but gets a little jealous sometimes so we have to give him some extra loving too.

She goes back to the vet on Monday - I am anxious to see how much she weighs - she is looking a little chubby in the middle!
