Two of my favorite little people - they will be here the end of June and I can not wait.
Kids went to have eye exams recently, Meg was complaining of headaches - she did not need glasses, but Alex did and Meg is mad because she wants glasses -- if she only knew what a pain glasses can be.  Oh well she will eventually.  But doesn't Alex look handsome in his glasses?
Two more of my favorite people - Tracie and Jennifer - aren't they the cutest??
And they are still cute -- We headed to Bumpass yesterday to celebrate a birthday.  Tracie is such a wonderful young lady, I am so proud of her.  We had a wonderful meal and cupcakes to celebrate....I thought I had a pic of Jennifer but I didn't.

Robert's 40th birthday.
also these two little guys - Hunter and Jacob - they are getting so big.
This is their youngest -- Samson - I am not much for big dogs, but this one I love - 90? pounds of sweetness.
Before going to Roberts Birthday we went to Samara's dance recital.
Samara is 4 and just the cutest.
I think she liked her bunny.
These were the "dancing ducks".  Precious!
All the groups were wonderful.
Bunny in a tu -tu for Sami and a few goodies for Robert.
In between the two events we had some spare time.  We checked out the Trader Joe's on West Broad Street.
I got all these goodies for $24.99.  Two wines that were only $3.99 each, low fat brownie mix, rice, 2 soups and fruit rolls that are only 50 calories.
This is one of the wines we bought at Trader Joe's -- well worth the $3.99 - a rare find and would definitely buy it again.
Lastly, I saw these chalk board placements several months back on one of my favorite blogs - "A Friend to Knit With".  I thought these would be great but didn't order them until last week.  They arrived on Friday and I am very happy with my purchase.  And can't wait for the kids in our family to use them.  They are very sturdy and solid, not made of a flimsy material.

We are having a busy spring - cleaning the garage and...
Working in the yard and garden, which we love but it is a lot of work.
My herb garden.
One of Dave's ponds.
I love these flamingos.
Veggie garden is doing well.  We have zuchinni, squash - yellow and acorn, green beans, sweet potatoes, watermelon, cucumbers, pumpkins, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, peppers, okra, black beans and bok choy.
Dave put pea gravel in the paths around the garden.  I love it, a lot less weeding for me and it looks so good, thanks honey!
Blackberries are looking good.
Huge pink rose bush.

All these pink flowers are called "pinks" - began with a small patch that Jeanette gave me from her yard.  They have spread like crazy.  Those tall skinny things with the little purple flowers at the top are a type of verbena.  Don't know where they came from, they just popped up.
Slim, new bird feeder.
New gazing ball.
Jacob's Beard - new flower planted this year.
Foxglove.
Dave taking a break.
This is Gaura - Pink Fountain.  We planted 4 of these plants 3 years ago in the flower bed at the street and they have spread  covering the entire area.  They look lovely.  I have also taken cuts and planted in other areas of the yard and they a doing very well - love them!
I bought this Rosemary Topiary a few weeks ago at Home Depot.
The pool has been ready to go for a few weeks now, but the temperature of the water is still a little cool.  We have had a lot of rain and cool temps, but it is suppose to heat up to near 90's in the next few days.
Having lunch on the back deck.
We have had so much rain.
New hummingbird feeder.
It was chilly yesterday afternoon so I made a hot chocolate and worked on my current crochet project..
A ripple pattern afghan.
Also made this yummy pork and asian slaw.
Haven't been working all the time.  Have enjoyed a lot of good reading.
Just started this one on my Nook.
and this from Goodwill for $1
I recently signed up for Netflix..again.  I have been ordering some older movies that were recommended from a favorite blog.  I loved both of these movies, highly recommend them.  I received "Phoebe in Wonderland" today.  Look forward to that one.
