At Last - They are Home!!!

Ours kids are home and we are so excited. Just look at Samantha - she is going to high school this year. Isn't she gorgeous and she is sweet as ever.

All my girls!!!! It has been a year since they moved to St. Louis.

Meg just as sassy as ever.

She loves her garden boots and she was a big help in the garden.

Meg loved my favorite popsicles: banana.

Dave loves being a kid too - he gets on their level and they love it He also had a tea party and a picnic with the kids during their visit. Sorry for the duplicate pic -- I couldn't get rid of it.

Squirrel caught!!We have caught 30 so far. Dave takes them far away - hope they don't find their way back.

They still love their little car and can really drive it well.

The pool was enjoyed by all.

The kids loved being with Bandit. When Bandit wouldn't come to them, they would go to him. They must have mention Cooper a dozen times.

Sami had to go home on Tuesday. We miss her already. Amy and Paul had to head back to St. Louis on Friday. The twins are staying for a week, then we will take them home. The visit was nice, just too short. We had a party/cookout for family and friends while they were here. I didn't get any pictures since I was busy with hostess duties. Amy got lots of pictures so I will share some of them later.

Tea Party

On Saturday we headed to the Chesterfield Fair Grounds - it was so hot, but the kids found a way to get cool.... there was this flower that was shooting out water and all the kids were running through the sprinkler.

Alex got a hold of the flower lots and was spraying the other kids - they loved it, even the big girls.

We had yummy junk food - corn dogs, funnel cakes and snow cones!

Busy, Fun Sunday

We headed for church. Meg wanted to take her baby that had a matching dress. Of course, Alex wanted to take his baugaghans ????? I know that is spelled wrong -he is obsessed with them. They are little balls that open up to all types of creatures when they hit the floor.

We went to see "G Force" after lunch. It was a 3 D movie - Alex liked wearing his glasses the rest of the day. Good movie!

Then we came home and had water fun:

They still like the little pool we bought for them last year.

I bought this cute duck sprinkler at Target, but it broke as soon as we hooked it up.

The kids also remembered this water rocket from last summer and loved playing with it.
