Happy, Happy

Yes, we are very happy.  Amy and her family have moved to Reston Virginia.  I picked the kids in Staunton Va last week and they stayed the week with us while Paul and Amy went to Reston to wait for their furniture to be delivered.  We had a blast with the kids.

We discovered 2 baby racoons in our yard - very cute...

We visited Pocohontas Park - the kids favorite...Our doggies were glad to have them around.

We had cool drinks on the porch in the afternoons - Meg loves her Shirley Temples...Meg performed for us in the evening.She is the cutest!!!Barbara and Jerry came for dinner one night.   This was one of those days that Alex wanted to wear his PJ's all day.Barb brought these great appetizers and a delish chocolate cake which I forgot to take a picture - thanks Babara.Barbara brought chalk for the kids and it didn't take Meg long to put them to use.Alex - such a hoot, he keeps us in stitches.Plums almost ready to be picked.We went to the zoo - it couldn't have been a better day - great weather and no Crowd!!!This is a new addition to the zoo--a big cage full of parakeets and they come to you and eat from these little sticks you purchase...Nibbling on Dave's back.One last ride on the merry go round.  Meg and I made cake balls to take on a visit to Pam and John's.Courtney with their new puppy - Lilly - she is so cute...Annabelle went with us...she wasn't very friendly to Lilly.  Pam and her new baby...Kids getting ready to catch lightning bugs.
