It was really hot - a lot of the animals were in their homes keeping cool.

Alex really loved the prairie dogs, they were really cute.

Meg loved the merry go round. She rode twice - a monkey one time and a tiger the next.
Alex wasn't so crazy about the merry go round, he just wanted to go back to see the "puppies" (the prairie dogs).
