Several weeks ago we kept Emerson and had a fun day at King's Dominion - Emmy had a dance competition. Her group did very well.

Following her performance they had access to the park. Lots of fun - the weather was perfect and no lines.
Back to the theater to hear the results. Emmy's group got very high scores.
Emmy loves to cook. So we attempted to make "cake balls" from the Bakerella website and her book.
But we were not very successful. I didn't have the right sticks and the dough was too wet, not sure why. Our cake balls just didn't stay together when we dipped them in the icing. Oh well, we will try another time.
The batter was very yummy.
