Back Home from Vacation

We got back home last Sunday morning around 1:00AM. The week sure went by fast. We had a blast. We stayed at Treasure Island, which was connected to the Mirage by a quick ride on the monorail. We liked Treasure Island, the buffet was fantastic, but next time I would like to stay at the Mirage.
Gardens at the Mirage:

The casino's are spectacular and a lot of construction was going on.
A lot of good eating. We ate at the buffet at Treasure Island most of the time. There were just so many good things on this buffet: Japanese, Chinese, Sushi, Pasta Station, Carving Station (always some kind of steak, my favorite), and the desserts were to die for. Dave's favorite thing was the espresso machine.
Hot and Sour Soup, Dave's favorite. I loved these bowls.

Really good apple martini's.

Brandy Manhattan for Dave.

The pool was great

Mango and Margarita Drinks poolside.

Siegfried and Roy White Lion Show use to be at the Mirage. They still have the white tigers at the hotel. We saw this show the first time I went to Vegas with Dave. Sure am glad we saw it since they no longer have the show.
We walked up the strip and visited a lot of the casino/hotels.

Ceasar's Palace.

Stopped for a treat - Chocolate Gelato - $18 !!! Whoa. I will check the prices first next time. It was good!

Dave had a beer.

This fish was in this aquarium:

Gardens in the Bellagio:

Paris

New York, New York.

We didn't come home with a lot of winnings. We played a lot of the penny and nickle machines.

We rented a car for 2 days and ventured out from the strip. This is a casino just outside Vegas - Sam's Town. A very nice place, we may stay here sometime in the future.
This is in the center of the casino. A spectacular water show.

WW We ate at the steak restaurant in the hotel:

I had lamb chops. It was the second time I have had these. I don't think I will order them again. They were ok, but I felt a little guilty eating them.

Dave had lobster.

Oysters on the half shell.

Did a little knitting on the airplane, I started another Lucy Bag.

Found a knit shop in Vegas - the only one in the phone book. I got a few great things, need to take pictures.
